최민호 세종시장이 26일 대전시청 대강당에서 직원 600여 명을 대상으로 ‘풍요로운 삶, 품격 있는 세종’을 주제로 특강을 진행했다.
이번 특강은 지난 8월 이장우 대전시장이 세종시청을 방문한 이후 1개월여 만에 이뤄진 것으로, 충청권 협력과 연대를 강화하기 위한 목적으로 추진됐다.
최민호 시장은 특강을 통해 오늘날 대한민국의 위상과 현재의 위기를 종합적으로 고찰하며 우리 사회에 필요한 바람직한 인재상과 세종시의 미래 비전, 개인적인 철학과 소신 등을 소개했다.

특히 최 시장 본인이 공직자 출신인 만큼 후배 공무원들에게 공직자가 갖추어야 하는 정의·정확·정직, 삼정(三正)을 강조했다.
최민호 시장은 “대한민국 현재 상황을 정확히 표현하는 단어가 바로 피크 코리아(PEAK KOREA)”라며 “과거 우리나라가 국가적 위기를 기회로 만들었던 중요한 역량 중 하나가 공직자였고, 우리 후배 공무원들이 창조와 도전 정신으로 미래 대한민국을 이끌어가길 바란다”고 말했다.
특강을 마친 후에는 이장우 대전시장과 함께 ‘2024 대전·충청권 일자리페스티벌’에 참석해 관내 기업 부스를 방문하며 채용담당자와 구직자들을 격려했다.
