(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 최근 관내 마을활동가 네트워크 ‘우리마을주민기획단(이하 우주단)’이 주관한 ‘2024년 마을공동체 한마당’을 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 행사는 마을활동가들이 연대감을 형성하고, 공동체 활동을 시민들에게 홍보하기 위해 마련됐다.
행사장은 유동인구가 많은 것을 고려해 부천시청 후문 맞은편 공용광장에 마련됐다. 남녀노소 각계각층의 시민에게 각 공동체 활동을 알리고 마을 활동에 관한 관심을 높인다는 취지다.
행사에 참여한 16개의 공동체는 체험 부스를 운영하고 활동 내용을 전시했다. 1,000여 명의 시민들은 친환경 세제만들기, 마음치유 액자만들기, 심폐소생술 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다.
부스 한편에서는 이번 행사를 지원한 부천시 자치분권과의 마을공동체 사업, 자원봉사 프로그램, 고향사랑기부제 등 민관 협력으로 진행되는 부천시 참여형 프로그램에 대한 홍보도 함께 진행됐다.
특히 이번 행사는 ‘우주단’이 장소 선정부터 현장 운영까지 직접 추진해 ‘주민주도 마을 활동’에 대한 의미를 다졌다.
한편, 부천시에는 181개의 마을공동체가 활동하고 있으며, 활동가 네트워크 ‘우주단’을 통해 민·관이 협력하는 공동체 활동지원 체계를 공고히 하고 있다.

또한, 부천시가 최근 오정대공원 축구장에서 ‘2024년 노동가족 체육대회’가 개최돼 성황리 마쳤다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 한국노총 부천·김포지역지부(의장 박종현)가 주최하고 부천시(시장 조용익)가 후원하는 이번 행사는 노동자 및 가족 등 시민을 비롯해 조용익 부천시장, 김병전 시의회 의장, 서영석·이건태·김기표 국회의원 및 도·시의원, 각 단체장 등 800여 명이 참여해 성황을 이뤘다.
노동가족 체육대회는 지역경제의 주체인 노동자와 그 가족들의 자긍심을 고취하고, 지역 노사관계의 안정과 건전한 노사관계 정착을 위해 매년 개최하고 있다.
이번 체육대회는 노동가족 체육대회인 만큼 족구, 협동 공 튀기기, 집단 줄넘기 등 단결 종목과 어린이 달리기, 투호 던지기 등 어린이들을 위한 종목이 마련돼 가족단위로 방문한 참가자들에게 큰 호응을 얻었다.

또한, 부천시가 최근 중앙공원에서‘소중한 물! 아끼고 사랑해요’라는 주제로 ‘제16회 물 사랑 그림그리기 대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 이번 대회는 유치부 및 초등부 어린이를 대상으로 물의 소중함을 일깨우기 위해 부천시 주최, 경기도부천교육지원청 후원으로 추진됐다.
대회에는 학부모와 어린이 150여 명이 참석했으며 부대행사로는 부천시 수돗물인 복사골맑은물 음용 체험 부스가 운영됐다.
또 탄소중립 실천 및 환경 사랑을 위해 일회용컵 대신 다회용컵을 사용하도록 해 행사의 취지를 되새겼다.
아울러, 가족들이 함께 즐길 수 있는 페이스페인팅 등의 체험 부스와 직접 그린 작품과 함께 기념사진을 남길 수 있는 포토존, 풍선아트 등 이벤트 행사가 진행됐다.
