평택시, ‘제3회 아시아청년미래포럼’ 참가자 모집

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시국제교류재단은 ‘제3회 아시아청년미래포럼’ 대한민국 및 아시아 국적 청년 참가자를 모집한다.

평택시국제교류재단은 2022년부터 지속가능개발목표(SDGs, Sustainable Development Goals)를 주제로 한 아시아 청년들의 공동 미래 설계와 비전 제시를 통한 정책 참여를 목표로 국내 거주 대한민국 및 아시아 국적 청년들을 대상으로 한 다국적팀을 편성해 포럼을 진행해 왔다.

오는 11월 16일 송탄국제교류센터에서 개최되는 ‘제3회 아시아청년미래포럼’에서는 교육 불평등 문제해결과 Net-zero 2050 달성을 주제로 아시아 공동 정책 제안을 위한 주제발표와 토론을 주요 순서로 하여 참가자 네트워킹, 소셜미디어 참여이벤트 등의 행사가 진행될 예정이다. 본 행사의 공식 언어는 영어이며 참관자와 서포터즈를 위해 동시통역 서비스가 제공될 예정이다.

본 포럼의 참가 자격은 대한민국 및 아시아 국적의 만 19~29세 청년으로 9월 30일부터 10월 20일 23:59까지 구글폼을 통해 접수한다. 1차 서류심사와 2차 영어화상면접을 통해 최종 선발되며, 선발된 인원은 4인 1조로 배정된 다국적팀으로 구성돼 포럼을 위한 예비활동을 시작한다.

평택시국제교류재단 정종필 대표이사는 “교육 불평등과 Net-zero 2050은 소득 불평등과 기후변화와도 직결되는 중요한 이슈로, 글로벌 미래의 주역으로 성장할 아시아 청년들의 토론을 통한 문제 제기와 비전있는 정책 제안이 기대되며 많은 참여를 바란다”라고 전했다.
