안산시, 정책결정권자 대상 아동 권리 교육 실시

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 ‘안산시 정책결정권자 대상 아동 권리 교육’을 실시했다.

지난 4일 안산시청 제1회의실에서 간부 공무원을 대상으로 시의 정책 방향을 결정하는 정책결정권자를 대상으로 아동의 권리를이해하고 보다 구체적인 아동 정책 반영 방안을 논의하고자 7일 추진됐다.

교육은 ▲유엔(UN) 아동 권리협약의 4대 기본권 이해 ▲아동 권리 보호를 위한 실행 방안 모색 등 아동 권리의 이해를 돕기 위한 내용으로 구성됐다.

이민근 안산시장은 “이번 교육을 통해 안산시 정책결정권자들이 아동의 권리에 대해 조금 더 숙고할 수 있는 계기가 됐길 바란다”라며 “혁신적인 아동 친화 정책을 추진해 아동이 행복한 도시를 만들 수 있도록 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

한편, 시는 아동들의 건강한 성장을 돕고 아동 권리에 대한 이해를 높이기 위해 지역사회 리더(관내 25개 동 행정복지센터 유관단체)와 초·중학교 학생을 대상으로 ‘찾아가는 아동 권리 교육’을 진행하고 있다.
