[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시는 ‘2024년 안산 음식문화제’를 성황리에 개최했다.
지난 2019년 이후 5년 만에 개최된 안산음식문화제는 안산 음식문화의 다양성과 우수성을 알리기 위해 지난 5일 안산 와~스타디움 원형광장 일대에 마련됐다. ▲음식문화 및 식품안전 체험관 ▲향토 특산품 및 향토음식관 ▲우수기업관 등 총 20개의 체험관을 중심으로 이루어진 이번 음식 문화제는 시민들에게 관내 향토 음식을 한자리에서 맛볼 수 있는 기회가 제공됐다.
특히 바지락 칼국수와 바고찌(바지락고추장찌개), 안산 쌀로 만든 포도꿀떡, 현재 개발 중인 안산 브랜드 빵 등이 가득한 향토음식관에는 많은 시민이 방문해 관심을모았다. 이외에도 안산 특산품인 장류와 소금, 우수식품기업 제품 체험도 많은 호평을 받았다.
이민근 안산시장은 “바고찌 등 안산의 대표 먹거리가 전국에 먹거리로 자리 잡을 수 있도록 최선을 다하고 있다”라며 “앞으로도 시의 향토 음식과 우수식품을널리 알림으로써 지역 경제를 활성화할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”라고 말했다.
한편, 지난 3일 개최된 ‘2024 안산페스타’는 시기와 지역별로 분산됐던 축제와 행사를 한데 묶어 안산 대표 축제로서의 경쟁력을 확보하고 불필요한 예산 낭비를 막고자 기획한 민선8기 안산시의 새로운 축제 브랜드다.
축제는 오는 9일까지 와~스타디움 일대에서 체육·문화·예술을 총망라해 진행될 예정이다.
