수원시, '통닭거리 축제' 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=수원 이현준기자] 수원시는 ‘2024 수원 통닭거리 축제’를 개최한다.

10월 11~12일 화성행궁 광장, 남수동 수원 통닭거리 일원에서 열린다.

수원시가 주최하고, 행궁문화거리상인회가 주관하는 이번 수원 통닭거리 축제는 11일 오후 7시 화성행궁 광장에서 열리는 개막식으로 시작된다. 수원시립공연단의 식전 공연, 가마솥 닭강정 비빔 퍼포먼스, 가수 거미, 김나영, 밴드 원위의 축하공연이 이어진다. 12일에는 통닭거리에서 가수 김장훈이 특별공연을 한다.

축제 기간 통닭거리에서 다채로운 버스킹 공연, 수원화성의 정체성을 살린 ‘정조대왕 밴드 페스티벌’, ‘전통의상 예술가 거리공연’ 등이 펼쳐진다.

풍선아트, 그립톡·슈링클스 키링·향수 만들기, 캘리그라피, 통닭시식, 심폐소생술 체험 등 다양한 체험·홍보부스, 플리마켓 행사도 마련된다.

축제 기간 오후 1시부터 오후 10시까지 축제 장소 일원의 차량 운행이 통제될 예정이다.

수원시 관계자는 “축제 규모가 행궁광장까지 커진 만큼 더 다채롭고 풍성한 축제를 즐길 수 있을 것”이라며 “시민들의 많은 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.
