[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시가 ‘제18회 경기도장애인생활체육대회’를 연다.
오는 10월 11일과 12일 양일간 지역 내 20곳 경기장에서 진행되는 이번 대회는 경기도 내 31개 시군 장애인 생활체육인들의 축제로 마련돼 모두 5046명의 선수단이 참가한다.
선수단에는 선수 2382명과 보호자 913명, 임원 1143명, 대회장(단장) 27명, 감독·코치 581명이 포함돼 있다.
선수단은 ▲슐런, 보치아, 게이트볼, 수영 등 19개 종목의 생활체육 종목 ▲스포츠 스태킹, 레이저 사격, 한궁, 플로어 컬링의 4개 체험 종목 등 모두 총 23개의 종목에서 그동안 갈고닦은 기량을 펼친다.
이 중 4개의 체험 종목에는 선수단 325명 외에 성남지역 특수학교인 성은학교, 혜은학교 학생(초·중·고·대학생) 170명이 출전하기로 해 주목된다.
이번 대회 개회식은 첫날(10.11) 오전 10시 성남종합운동장에서 신상진 성남시장, 김성중 경기도 행정1부지사, 염경훈 경기도장애인체육회 부회장, 일반시민 등 4000여 명이 참석한 가운데 개최된다.
