[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 이상일 용인특례시장은 기흥·처인 지역 중학교 학부모 대표들과 간담회를 가졌다.
시는 지난 7일 기흥구 동백동 용인미디어센터에서 처인구와 기흥 일부 지역 23개 중학교 학부모 대표들과 강문환 용인교육지원청 학교지원국장, 시와 용인교육지원청 관계자 등이 참석했다.
이상일 시장은 “지난해에 이어 올해도 초중고 교장선생님들과의 간담회에 이어 학부모회장님들과도 별도의 간담회를 진행하고 있는데 이렇게 하는 것은 나라와 용인의 미래를 책임질 학생들이 보다 안전하고, 보다 좋은 환경에서 교육받을 수 있도록 시장으로서 최선을 다해 돕겠다는 이유에서다"라며 “학부모님들이 그동안 생각하셨던 것들을 편안하게 말씀해 주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
