[브레이크뉴스경기남부=성남 이현준기자] 성남시는 사회복지공동모금회와 ‘유산기부 문화 활성화를 위한 업무협약’을 체결했다.
성남시는 10월 8일 시청 4층 회의실에서 신상진 성남시장과 권인욱 경기 사회복지공동모금회장 등이 참석했다.
협약에 따라 성남시는 ‘행복한 유산기부 캠페인’을 통해 시민이 자발적으로 참여할 수 있도록 관련 사업을 홍보하고, 유산기부 희망자 발굴, 기부자 예우 프로그램 운영 등 필요한 행정적 지원을 한다.
경기 사회복지공동모금회는 해당 캠페인에 참여하는 유산 기부자의 서약서 접수, 유언 공증과 기부자 관리, 유언 집행, 기부금 배분 업무를 맡는다.
이를 통해 계획기부를 유도하고, 나눔문화를 확산한다.
성남시는 경기 사회복지공동모금회의 ‘행복한 유산 기부 성남시 1호’로 이름을 올렸던 고 홍계향(90) 할머니의 지난 5월 별세를 계기로 이번 협약을 추진하게 됐다.
별세 당시 무연고자이던 홍 할머니는 노점상 등으로 모은 전 재산(4층 규모 다세대주택)을 사후에 어려운 이웃을 위해 써달라며 2014년 기부 약정했다.
신상진 성남시장은 “무연고자의 경우 재산의 많고 적음과 상관없이 사후에 재산 정리가 어렵고, 생전 의사와 무관하게 처리되는 문제점이 발생한다”면서 “고 홍계향 어르신을 잇는 제2의 기부자가 탄생할 수 있는 기반이 조성되길 희망한다”고 말했다.
