시는 지난해 한파 대응 종합평가에서 경기도 내 2위를 달성한 바 있으며, 자연 재난 종합평가에서도 전 분야 ‘우수(2022~2023 대설 3위, 2023 풍수해 3위, 2023 폭염 1위, 2023~2024 한파 2위)’를 달성하는 성과를 거뒀다.
