<October 10, 2024. Los Angeles> Filmmaker Young Man Kang’s Prayer International Series episode 14, Prayer Atlanta, has earned Kenneth Dixon the prestigious Best Actor Award at the 2024 Swedish International Film Festival.
Kenneth Dixon, a multifaceted actor, producer, and writer with over 30 years of experience in Hollywood and internationally, holds several high-profile roles beyond the screen. He serves as the chairman of the emerging streaming distribution service UD Mand, working alongside industry veterans such as CEO Gus Blackmon, a 50-year Warner Bros. Studios veteran and long-time executive producer of the Judge Mathis Show, and Jeanette Matte, who has spearheaded over 300 media projects throughout her impressive career.
Dixon's career is marked not only by his contributions to entertainment but also by significant political appointments. He was named Ambassador to Zambia by FMI and later appointed as Ambassador-at-Large to the USA/UK and Special Envoy to Africa by Nations United/UN. Most recently, he became Ambassador to The WJ Mudolo Foundation, a role he describes as an honor. Dixon commends Joseph Mudolo as a pivotal leader within the global African community whose foundation is making a profound impact.

Reflecting on his win, Dixon stated, "I am very happy to receive the Best Actor award from Sweden. This is the first European country where I’ve won an award."
Filmmaker Young Man Kang shared, “This is Kenneth’s first Best Actor award. We are excited for what's to come, including episode 17, Prayer Marseille, and episode 18, Prayer Arles.”
Prayer Atlanta is also a semi-finalist for Best Short Film at the 2024 Fresh Black Film Festival.

The Prayer International Series is a globally focused project, documenting the lives of young individuals pursuing their dreams in various cities worldwide, with each episode reflecting the local culture and unique narratives of its location. Episodes have been filmed in cities such as Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and more. To date, the series features 15 episodes from cities including Vancouver, Toronto, Lima, Cusco, Frankfurt, Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro, San Salvador, Atlanta, Wetzlar, and Panama, with additional episodes in production.
