화성시의회, 주요 기관 현장 점검

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=화성 이현준기자] 화성시의회 기획행정위원회는 ‘화성시마을공동체지원센터’과 ‘KAIST사이언스허브’를 방문해 현장 점검을 진행했다.

제236회 임시회를 앞두고 집행부의 업무를 점검하고 실질적인 행정 개선 방안을 모색하기 위한 목적에서 기획됐다.

지난 7일부터 8일까지 이틀간 장철규 기획행정위원장을 비롯해 김미영 부위원장, 김경희, 송선영, 이해남, 전성균 의원이 참석했으며, 집행부의 관계자들도 함께 동행했다.

첫 번째 방문지는 ‘화성시마을공동체지원센터’로, 위원들은 이곳에서 공동체 활동 현황과 운영상의 어려움을 청취했다. 이후 위원들은 ‘KAIST사이언스허브’로 이동해 첨단 과학 연구의 진행 상황을 확인하고, 혁신적인 과학 기술이 지역 사회에 미칠 영향을 논의했다.
