평택시, 반려동물 인식개선 문화 페스티벌 개최

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=평택 이현준기자] 평택시는 반려동물 인식개선 문화 페스티벌을 개최했다.

지난 5일 이충레포츠공원 광장에서 하루 동안 시민 1400여 명이 참여해 공개 강연과 다양한 부스 체험 등을 통해 반려동물 인식개선을 위한 문화의 장을 열었다.

이번 행사는 국제대학교 반려동물학과와 평택시 수의사회 및 평택시 국제교류재단이 함께 참여해 풍성한 문화교류의 기회를 마련했다. ‘세상에 나쁜 개는 없다’, ‘유퀴즈’ 등에 출연한 설채현 행동교정 수의사를 비롯해 ‘원조 개통령’ 동물훈련사인 이웅종 교수의 열정적인 강연이 시민들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

체험 프로그램으로는 반려견 미용 및 건강 상담 부스뿐 아니라 반려견 캐리커처, 이름표 만들기 등이 마련돼 있어 반려견을 동반한 시민들의 발걸음으로 북적였다.
