한국부동산원이 사회복지시설에 태양열 시설을 지원하는 등 ESG 경영을 실천하고 있다.
한국부동산원(원장 손태락)은 최근 사회복지시설의 에너지 자립 지원 및 친환경 에너지 보급 확산을 위해 사회복지시설 태양열 설치 사업을 진행하기도 했다.
한국부동산원에 따르면 이 사업은 환경·사회·투명 경영(ESG) 실천 사업의 일환으로, 경제적 여건이 어려운 사회복지시설의 에너지 비용 절감을 돕고, 동시에 탄소중립에 기여하는 것을 목표로 삼고 있다.
한국부동산원은 사회복지시설 태양열 설치사업 추진을 위해 지난 4월 5일 한국에너지공단 대구·경북지역본부(본부장 손명임)와 업무협약을 체결하고 기술지원 등을 받았다. 이를 통해 대구광역시사회복지협의회 등 지역 사회복지기관 추천 시설 중 태양열 설비 설치 조건 등에 부합한 사회복지시설 2곳을 최종 선정하여 맞춤형 신재생에너지 설비를 설치했다.
한국부동산원 유은철 부원장은 “이번 태양열 설비 지원 사업은 에너지 취약계층이 보다 나은 환경에서 생활할 수 있도록 지원하는 것에 큰 의미가 있다”며, “앞으로도 지속 가능한 사회를 위한 다양한 친환경 사업을 추진하여 에너지 효율화 및 신재생에너지 확산에 기여하겠다“고 밝혔다.
한편, 한국부동산원은 한국에너지공단과 탄소중립 이행과 환경‧사회‧투명 경영(ESG)을 위해 ▲ 에너지설비 자원순환 활성화 ▲ 에너지 고효율설비 보급 및 지원 ▲ 지역 에너지 문제 해결을 위한 사업 발굴 등 여러 방면의 사업을 협력하여 추진할 예정이다.

Korea Real Estate One is practicing ESG management by supporting solar power facilities for social welfare facilities.
Korea Real Estate Agency (KRA) recently launched a solar installation project for social welfare facilities to support energy independence and spread eco-friendly energy.
According to the organization, the project is part of its environmental, social, and transparent management (ESG) program, which aims to help social welfare facilities with difficult economic conditions reduce energy costs and contribute to carbon neutrality.
To promote the solar installation project for social welfare facilities, on April 5, Korea Real Estate One signed a business agreement with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Energy Agency (Head of Headquarters Son Myung-im) and received technical support. Through this, two social welfare facilities recommended by local social welfare organizations such as the Daegu Metropolitan Social Welfare Council were finally selected and installed customized renewable energy facilities that met the conditions for installing solar thermal facilities.
Yoo Eun-cheol, Deputy Director of Korea Real Estate Agency, said, “This solar power facility support project is of great significance in helping the energy vulnerable live in a better environment.” “We will continue to contribute to energy efficiency and the spread of renewable energy by promoting various eco-friendly projects for a sustainable society.”
Meanwhile, Korea Real Estate One will cooperate with the KEPCO to implement carbon neutrality and environmental, social, and transparent management (ESG), including ▲ activating resource recycling of energy facilities ▲ supplying and supporting energy-efficient facilities ▲ and discovering projects to solve local energy problems.
