안산시의회, 윤리심사자문위원회 위원 위촉

[브레이크뉴스경기남부=안산 이현준기자] 안산시의회는 2기 윤리심사자문위원회 위원들을 위촉했다.

시의회는 지난 14일 의장실에서 ‘윤리심사자문위원회 위원 위촉식’을 열어 민간 전문가 7명에게 자문위원 위촉장을 수여했다고 밝혔다.

윤리심사자문위원회는 개정 지방자치법과‘안산시의회 윤리특별위원회 구성과 운영에 관한 규칙’에 따라 지난 2022년 10월 처음 구성됐다.

의원의 겸직 및 영리행위 등에 관한 의장의 자문과 의원의 윤리강령과 윤리실천규범 준수 여부 및 징계에 관한 윤리특별위원회의 자문에 응하는 게 이 위원회의 역할이다.

위원회 위원의 임기는 2년이며, 1회에 한해 연임할 수 있다.

의회는 이날 위촉식에서 지난 2년 동안 활동한 위원들 중 연임이 가능한 6명을 재위촉하고 1명은 새로운 인사로 선임했다.

이들에게 위촉장을 수여한 박태순 의장은 “안산시의회는 깨끗한 지방정치를 바라는 시민들의 기대에 부응할 수 있는 노력을 지속해 오고 있다”며“윤리심사자문위원회가 의원들이 청렴한 의정활동을 펼치는 데에 기여할 수 있도록 공정하고 객관적인 자문을 수행해 줄 것을 당부드린다”고 말했다.
