[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이현준기자] 용인에서 최초로 학교 안에 마련된 ‘다함께돌봄센터 20호점’ 개소식을 진행했다.
16일 열린 개소식에는 이상일 시장과 김희정 용인교육지원청 교육장, 학교 관계자와 지역 주민과 아이들이 참석했다.
이상일 시장은 개소식에 참석한 학부모와 고진초·용인교육지원청 관계자들과 간담회를 갖고, 지원이 필요한 부분과 향후 운영 방안에 대해 논의했다.
이상일 시장은 “‘다함께돌봄센터 20호점’은 올해 5월 용인특례시와 용인교육지원청, 고진초등학교가 업무협약을 맺고 힘을 모아 마련한 첫 결실”이라며 “학교 교실이 멋있는 공간으로 변모한 돌봄센터는 부모가 마음 놓고 아이들을 맡길 수 있는 곳”이라고 말했다.
이 시장은 “용인특례시의 ‘다함께돌봄센터’가 아이들의 꿈과 희망이 자라는 장소가 되기를 바란다”며 “아이들이 잘 성장해 대한민국과 용인의 미래 주역이 될 수 있도록 시는 돌봄센터를 확대할 예정”이라고 했다.
서경란 고진초등학교 교장은 ” 아이들이 학교수업을 마치고 즐거운 얼굴로 다함께돌봄센터로 향하는 모습을 보면 보람된 마음을 감출 수 없다“며 ”고진초등학교가 용인특례시 첫 학교안 다함께돌봄센터가 될 수 있는 기회를 주셔서 감사하고 아이들에게 더 좋은 교육환경을 제공하기 위해 노력하겠다“ 고 밝혔다.
