[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 지역경제 활성화를 위해 오는 11월 1일 모바일 진주사랑상품권 60억원을 발행한다고 24일 밝혔다.
이번 상품권은 올해 마지막으로 발행되는 상품권이며 1인당 월 20만원 한도 내에서 7% 할인된 금액으로 구매 가능하다.
올해 진주사랑상품권은 지난 1월부터 3월, 5월, 7월, 9월, 10월과 오는 11월까지 7차례에 걸쳐 총 760억원이 발행됐다.
진주사랑상품권은 가맹점주에게는 수수료가 없고, 소비자에게는 할인 혜택과 연말정산 소득공제 30% 혜택이 있는 상품권이다.
시의 가맹점 수와 상품권 수요가 꾸준히 증가하고 있어 현재 지류 가맹점 수는 3700여 개소, 모바일 가맹점 수는 1만6000여 개소에 이른다.
진주시 관계자는 “상품권이 지역 내 소비를 촉진시켜주는 촉매제 역할을 톡톡히 한다”며“많은 소상공인과 시민에게 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
