[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시가 우주항공복합도시 건설 특별법의 조속한 국회심사와 법안통과를 위한 범시민 서명운동을 시작했다고 4일 밝혔다.
우주항공청은 지난 5월 27일 대한민국의 우주경제비전 실현을 위해 박대출 국회의원과 서천호 국회의원이 우주항공복합도시 건설을 위한 특별법안을 각각 발의했다.
우주항공복합도시 건설 특별법은 우주항공청의 소재지와 그 주변지역을 우주항공복합도시로 조성하고 해당 도시 내 국내외 기업·인력·자본의 유치 등을 위한 지원 특례를 규정한다.
이로 인해 우주항공 분야의 발전을 촉진하고 국가경쟁력을 강화하려는 목적으로 제정된다.
진주시민들은 진주시 홈페이지에서 온라인으로 서명에 참가하거나, 진주시청 민원실, 읍면동 행정복지센터, 복합혁신센터, 진주 K-기업가정신센터 등에서 오프라인으로 참여할 수 있다.
