브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 한국타이어앤테크놀로지는 지난 11일 오전 충청남도 금산군 소재 제원중학교를 방문해 학교발전기금 1000만 원을 전달했다고 12일 밝혔다.
이날 한국타이어가 전달한 학교발전기금은 2025년도 제원중학교 입학생 태블릿PC 지급 등을 위해 활용될 예정이다.
한국타이어 금산공장은 2007년 제원중학교와 1사1교 자매결연 체결 이래 매년 현장체험학습, 방과 후 학습, 교육용 기자재 구입, 교육 환경 개선 등을 위한 학교발전기금을 전달해 오고 있다.
오상현 한국타이어 금산공장장은 “지역의 미래 세대인 학생들의 행복한 학교생활과 학교의 발전을 위해 마련했다”며 “앞으로도 지역 사회와 상생과 발전을 위한 다양한 노력을 실천해 나갈 예정이다”고 말했다.
한편, 한국타이어는 (재)금산교육사랑장학재단에 충남 금산군 지역 내 초·중·고 학생들의 해외 어학연수, 인터넷 화상영어, 장학금을 위한 장학기금을 전달을 비롯해, 지역 체육 꿈나무 육성을 위한 대전지역 초·중·고·대 우수 체육선수에게 장학금을 전달하는 등 지역 미래 세대의 성장과 후원을 위한 활동을 진행해 오고 있다.
