충남 당진시가 지난 11일 행정안전부가 주최한 ‘2024 데이터 분석 전문인재 인증서 수여식’에서 ‘데이터 분석 인재양성 선도기관’으로 인증패를 수여받았다고 밝혔다.
이번 인증은 당진시가 데이터 기반 행정을 강화하고 전문 인재 양성에 기여한 결과로, 데이터 분석 선도 도시로서의 위상을 더욱 확고히 하는 계기가 되었다.
당진시는 이번 인증을 위해 지난 5월 행정안전부가 주관한 데이터 분석 전문인재 집중 양성 과정에 참여했다.
이 과정에서 5개월 동안 데이터 처리기술, 시각화, 데이터 마이닝 등 심화 기술을 학습하며, 실제 행정 현장에서 활용할 수 있는 문제 해결 역량을 키우는 데 중점을 두었다.
특히, 기획예산담당관 이은수 주무관이 이번 과정을 수료한 후 역량평가를 통해 ‘데이터 분석 전문인재’ 인증서를 취득했다. 이 주무관은 데이터 분석 기획과 수행 역량을 갖춘 전문가로 자리매김하며, 앞으로 데이터 기반 행정 문화 확산을 위한 멘토로서 핵심적인 역할을 수행할 예정이다.
또한, 당진시는 공공데이터를 활용한 다양한 프로젝트를 통해 지역 현안을 해결하고 있으며, 행정안전부에서 주관하는 데이터 기반 행정 활성화 실태평가에서 3년 연속 최고 등급인 ‘우수기관’으로 선정되는 쾌거를 이뤘다.
이러한 성과는 당진시의 데이터 기반 행정 활성화와 전문 인재 양성에 대한 지속적인 노력을 반영하고 있다.
