(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시가 17일, 보건복지부에서 추진하고 있는 ‘상병수당 1단계 시범사업’이 오는 31일 정부의 시범사업 운영계획에 따라 종료된다고 밝혔다.
부천시에 따르면, 상병수당은 업무와 관련 없는 부상·질병으로 일하기 어려운 기간의 소득을 보전하는 제도로, 부천시는 지난 2022년 7월부터 ‘상병수당 1단계 시범사업’ 대상지로 선정되어 사업을 추진해왔다.
상병수당은 국민건강보험공단에서 이달 31일까지 신청 가능하며, 2025년 1월 1일 이후 근무활동 불가기간에 대해서는 지급이 불가능하다.
상병수당 신청을 위한 최초진단서 또는 연장진단서는 각각 이달 24일, 31일까지 발급받을 수 있으며 해당 의료기관은 국민건강보험공단 홈페이지에서 확인할 수 있다.
부천시 관계자는 “상병수당 1단계 시범사업의 마감 기한이 얼마 남지 않은 만큼 대상자분들께서는 진단서 발급과 신청을 서둘러 주시길 바란다”고 당부했다.
한편, 부천시는 지난 10월까지 접수된 2,901건 중 2,450건에 대해 상병수당을 지급했으며 평균 지급일수는 22.8일, 평균 지급액은 106만 원으로 총 26억 1천만 원을 지급한 것으로 나타났다.
