[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 진양호공원이 자연을 찾는 방문객뿐만 아니라 사계절 축제와 문화행사에 어린이 동반 가족 단위 방문객들이 늘어나면서 다시 찾는 명소로 거듭나고 있다고 23일 밝혔다.
진주시에 따르면 진양호공원 내 동물원, 문화시설, 꿈키움동산 다이나믹 광장 등 운영시설 방문객은 2024년 11월 말 기준 27만여명에 이르는 것으로 집계되고 있다.
최근 호수와 자연경관이 함께하는 편안한 힐링명소로 자리잡은 ‘진양호 물빛 갤러리’의 2025년 전시 신청 예약은 접수 이틀 만에 성황리에 마감될 정도로 인기를 모았다.
진양호 물빛 갤러리는 내년 1월부터 12월까지 총 26회에 걸쳐 수채화, 유화, 아크릴화, 한국화, 콘테, 도자기작품 등의 전시작품을 선보일 예정이다.
지난 2022년 10월 첫 전시회를 시작한 진양호 물빛 갤러리는 문화예술과 함께 쉴 수 있는 힐링공간으로 자리 잡아 올해 11월 말 현재 총 2만4000명의 관람객이 방문했다.
또 아천 북카페는 작가와의 만남, 독서치유교실, 청소년독서동아리 및 노을음악회 등 시민들의 독서와 문화활동을 위한 다양한 프로그램을 운영해 3만5000여명이 이용했다.
다이나믹 광장은 사계절 열리는 축제와 어린이날 체험행사로 문화공연 관람과 다채로운 체험활동 등이 운영돼, 어린이를 동반한 가족의 뜨거운 호응으로 성황리에 행사들이 진행됐다.
특히 가족 소통으로 인기가 높았던 프로그램은 타로테라피, 푸드테라피, 오행테라피, 그림책테라피, 공예체험, 전통놀이 및 다채로운 먹거리들로 몸과 마음이 풍성해질 수 있도록 구성됐다.
