㈜테이팩스는 2022년부터 임직원들의 자발적 참여를 통해 조성된 기금을 통해 몽골의 사막화 지역에 나무 심는 푸른아시아 활동을 후원해왔다. 작년부터 투브 아이막(道) 바양항가이 솜(郡)에 비타민나무 600그루를 심었으며, 이번에도 바양항가이 지역에 나무를 심어 ‘테이팩스의 숲’을 넓혀갈 예정이다.
3년간 지속된 ㈜테이팩스의 후원으로 ‘테이팩스의 숲’이 조성되어 황폐화된 토양을 복원하고, 회복된 토양에서 기후난민들이 영농과 양묘 등 수익사업을 통해 경제적 자립의 기반을 만들어 나갈 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다.
