[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 법무부로부터 외국인 계절근로자를 배정받아 내달 2일부터 9일까지 진주시 농업기술센터 대강의실에서 입국 전 사업설명회를 개최한다고 31일 밝혔다.
이번 설명회는 2025년 근로자가 배정된 고용주와 결혼이민자 등 1400여 명을 대상으로 외국인 계절근로자의 입국 및 근로에 관한 내용을 전달한다.
주요 내용은 외국인 계절근로자 프로그램 운영 내용, 근로자 초청 절차, 필요서류, 고용계약서 작성 방법, 적정 숙소 제공, 최저임금 준수 및 인권보호 등이 포함돼 있다.
진주시 관계자는 “농촌의 인력 부족 문제가 외국인 계절근로자 도입으로 많이 해소되고 있다”며“앞으로도 시는 안정적인 농업환경 조성을 위해 노력할 것이다”고 말했다.
