최상목 대통령 권한대행 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관이 7일 전남 무안국제공항 제주항공 여객기 사고 관련해 "장례 절차가 마무리되더라도 유가족들 모든 어려움이 해소될 때까지 한 치 소홀함 없도록 세심하게 지원하고 살피겠다"고 말했다.
최 권한대행은 이날 오전 서울 종로구 정부서울청사에서 중앙재난안전대책본부 12차 회의를 주재하고 "지금껏 정부 차원 논의·지원한 사항은 끝까지 챙기고 각 기관 추진 상황도 계속 점검하겠다"며 이같이 밝혔다.

또 "중소기업 경영인·소상공인 희생자분들을 위한 지원도 추진하겠다"며 중소벤처기업부는 기존 대출·보증만기 연장·정책자금·대출 금리 인하·융자 한도 확대 등을, 금융위원회는 대출 만기 연장과 함께 신규 자금 필요로 하는 경우 신용보증기금을 통해 특례보증을 제공 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
이어 "사회복지공동모금회 특별 모금을 활용해 유가족분들께 긴급 생계비를 이달 10일부터 지원하겠다"며 "이제 현장 수습이 대부분 마무리되고 사고 원인 규명을 위한 조사·분석이 본격적으로 진행될 것이며 사고 원인 조사는 독립·중립성을 바탕으로 법령·국제 기준에 근거 객관적 투명하게 진행돼야 한다"고 강조했다.
