최상목 대통령 권한대행 경제부총리 겸 기획재정부 장관이 15일 고위공직자범죄수사처(공수처)의 윤석열 대통령 2차 체포영장 집행 관련해 "불행한 사태가 발생할 경우 대통령 권한대행으로서 엄중히 책임을 물을 것"이라고 밝혔다.
최 권한대행은 이날 "국가기관 간 물리적 충돌은 그 어떤 이유로도 허용될 수 없다"며 이같이 메시지를 냈다.
그러면서 "대통령 체포집행 집행이 시작됐다"며 "관계기관 모두는 법 집행 과정에서 신중한 판단·책임있는 행동으로 임해 달라"며 "지금 이 상황은 대한민국 질서·법치주의 유지를 위해 매우 중요한 순간으로 온 국민 눈·국제사회 시선이 지켜보고 있다"고 했다.

공수처·경찰은 이날 새벽 용산구 한남동 대통령 관저 앞에 도착해 체포·수색영장을 집행 한 가운데 국민의힘 의원 30여 명과 윤갑근 변호사 등 윤 대통령 변호인단이 모여 체포영장 집행에 항의했다.
