빙그레가 ‘모두비움, ESG나눔 자원순환 실천대회’에서 자원순환 캠페인 실천 우수기업으로 선정되어 환경부 장관상을 수상했다.
이번 대회는 환경부와 E-순환거버넌스가 주최하며, 폐전자제품 재활용 촉진과 ESG 경영 확산을 목표로 지난 1월 17일 서울 포시즌스 호텔에서 개최되었다. 행사에는 이병화 환경부 차관과 관련 기관 관계자들이 참석했다.
빙그레는 지난해 4월 탄소중립 실천 및 자원순환 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결하고, 올바른 자원순환 체계 구축에 기여한 점을 인정받았다. 이 협약을 통해 빙그레는 사업장에서 발생하는 폐전자제품을 E-순환거버넌스에 인계하고, 재활용 과정에서 발생하는 수익금을 어린이재단에 기부하여 아동복지사업을 지원하고 있다.
빙그레 관계자는 “자원순환 실천문화 확산을 통해 ESG 경영을 적극적으로 실천하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Binggrae wins the Minister of Environment Award at the 'Modulvium, ESG Sharing Resource Circulation Practice Competition'
Binggrae won the Minister of Environment Award for excellence in implementing resource recycling campaigns at the 'Modulo Empty, ESG Sharing Resource Recycling Competition'.
The competition was organized by the Ministry of Environment and E-Circular Governance and held on January 17 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul with the aim of promoting recycling of waste electronics and spreading ESG management. Vice Minister of Environment Lee Byung-hwa and officials from related organizations attended the event.
In April last year, Binggrae was recognized for its contribution to the establishment of a proper resource recycling system by signing a business agreement to practice carbon neutrality and promote resource recycling. Through this agreement, Binggrae hands over waste electronics generated at its business sites to E-circulation governance and donates the proceeds from the recycling process to the Children's Foundation to support child welfare projects.
An official from Binggrae said, “We will actively practice ESG management by spreading a culture of resource recycling practices.”
