[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 장애인 복지 강화를 위해 전년대비 5.6% 많은 786억8,600만원을 투입해 지원한다고 4일 밝혔다.
시는 중증장애인 장애인연금 인상 경제적 안정 지원으로 저소득 중증장애인의 소득보장을 위한 장애인연금 급여액을 월 최대 43만2,510원 지급한다.
이는 통계청에서 발표한 전국 소비자 물가변동률 2.3% 반영에 따른 기초급여액 인상을 반영한 것으로 중증장애인 중 소득 하위 70%가 장애인연금을 받을 수 있다.
올해 김해시의 장애인연금 대상자는 3,287명으로 예상되며 장애인연금 인상으로 저소득 장애인 가정의 경제적 부담을 줄여 안정적 생활을 영위할 수 있도록 돕는다.
시는 또 장애인 맞춤형 일자리 지원 확대로 만18세 이상 등록장애인을 위한 공공일자리 6개 사업을 운영해 172명을 관내 행정복지센터, 복지시설, 은혜학교, 요양병원 등에 파견하고 있다.
특히 특수교육연계형 일자리와 발달장애인 요양보호사 보조일자리 사업으로 발달장애인에게 적합한 맞춤형 직무개발과 훈련을 병행해 직업능력을 향상시키고 있다.
보조기구나 보조인 없이 일상생활을 유지하기 어려운 최중증장애인을 위한 권리중심 일자리 사업으로 최중증장애인의 일할 권리도 보장하고 있다.
또 6개 장애인직업재활시설에서 121명 장애인을 대상으로 자신의 능력과 적성에 맞는 직업생활을 할 수 있도록 직업상담, 직업적응훈련, 작업활동 서비스를 제공하며 취업 기회 제공과 함께 직업능력 향상에도 도움을 주고 있다.
장애인에 적합한 생산·편의·부대시설을 갖추고 장애인을 일정비율 이상 고용한 장애인표준사업장 11곳에서 171명 장애인에게 안정적인 일자리를 지원해 사회 참여 확대, 소득 보장을 통한 자립을 도모한다.
