삼원갤러리(대표 이연욱)는 2월6일 보도자료에서 “삼원갤러리(서울 광진구 천호대로 549 소재)는 2025년 첫 문을 여는 전시로 제1회 청년작가 공모 당선전을 개최한다. 전시 기간은 2월4일부터 17일. 이번 전시는 삼원갤러리에서 유망하고 가능성 있는 청년작가를 발굴하고 지원하며, 함께 성장하기 위하여 실시한 공모전 프로젝트로, 지난 2024년 하반기 공모를 통해 최종 6인의 작가(이다혜, 강해찬, 김우솔, 이혜성, 김재경, 주혜진)를 선정 후 대중에게 소개하는 전시”라고 밝혔다.
이 자료에서 “이들은 일상 속 스쳐 지나가는 평범한 풍경, 책상 위 무심히 어질러진 사물과 정물, 신진 작가로서의 불안과 고민을 한국화, 판화, 수채화, 인물, 풍경 등 다양한 매체와 재료를 기반으로 풀어내고 있다. 자신만의 세계를 무한히 확장하며 세계관을 구축하는 영 아티스트들의 작품은 우리에게 새로운 감각과 상상력을 자극한다”고 설명했다.

자료에 따르면, 대상 작가 이다혜 작가에게는 개인전 기회와 함께 작가의 도록 출판의 기회가 주어진다. 김종근 심사위원장이자 미술평론가는 “그녀는 사람들이 이사하면서 살아가는 보편적인 현실의 삶의 특징과 풍경을 생동감 있게 묘사했다. 학업을 위해서 공부에 사용되었던 수많은 책들과 일상의 흔적들이 작품 속에 그대로 등장하듯 녹아있다. 심지어 일상을 그대로 담긴 일기장은 물론 유년기 시절을 함께 했던 장난감과 퍼즐 등 모두가 작업 속에 그대로 등장한다.
작업을 가득 채우고 있는 이러한 풍경은 우리들 인생의 삶의 흔적이자 소중한 오브제들이다. 이러한 오브제를 이사를 가기 위해서 싸고 포장한다는 것은 우리들 인생을 말하는 것이다. 마치 설치작가 김수자가 삶의 과정을 보따리라는 오브제로 차를 가지고 이동하며 보여주는 예술행위와 같은 맥락으로 읽혀진다. 그것은 어쩌면 새로운 도약을 위해서 또 다른 낯선 환경으로 도전한다는 것을 가장 리얼하게 상징하는 것일 것이다.”라고 전했다.
삼원갤러리는 “이번 전시를 통해 동시대 청년 작가들에게 관람객들과의 만남을 통해 때론 앞이 보이지 않는다고 생각했을 기나긴 예술 여정에서 한 줄기 진심 어린 응원과 더불어 더욱 성장할 수 있는 기회와 넓은 세상에 한 발짝 가까이 다가갈 수 있길 바라며 관람객들 또한 이들의 작품을 통해 청춘이 표현하는 새로운 관점과 시각을 통해 싱그러운 영감을 얻어가길 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
