[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장이 11일 주요 현안사업 추진을 위해 행정안전부와 기획재정부를 방문했다고 밝혔다.
조 시장은 행정안전부 한순기 재정경제실장을 만나 신안동 스포츠타운 조성사업 등 지방재정 투자심사에 의뢰한 사업들의 타당성과 필요성을 설명하며 긍정적인 검토를 요청했다.
이 사업들은 시민들의 체육과 문화 향유를 위한 중요한 프로젝트로, 투자심사를 통과하면 사업 추진에 큰 탄력을 받을 것으로 예상된다.
또 조 시장은 기획재정부를 방문해 진주 정촌면~사천 사천읍 국도3·33호선 우회도로 개설사업의 신속한 추진을 요청했다.
이 사업은 경남 우주항공국가산단 조성 등으로 예상되는 교통량 증가에 대비하는 중요한 교통망 구축으로 지난 1월 기획재정부 예비타당성조사 대상 사업으로 선정됐다.
