[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 1월 7일부터 2월 25일까지 19개 읍면동을 순회하며 진행한 ‘시민과의 만남’을 성공적으로 마무리했다.

시는 주요 단체장 중심의 형식적 소통에서 벗어나 전통시장 상인, 청년 소상공인과 농업인, 나눔실천가 등 각계각층 시민들의 목소리를 경청하는 데 주력했다.

특히 현장의 애로사항을 듣고 해결방안을 함께 모색하는 쌍방향 소통에 노력했다.

시는 순회 과정에서 지역경제 활성화, 청년 자립 지원, 농업 경쟁력 강화, 인구소멸지역 지원 등 다양한 현안을 두고 시민들과 깊이 있는 대화를 나눴다.

이를 통해 소상공인 지원, 청년농업인 육성, 전통시장 활성화와 관련한 의미 있는 해결방안들을 함께 모색했으며 시민들의 다양한 제안을 검토해 시정에 반영할 계획이다.

주민 건의사항은 부서별 검토를 거쳐 실행 가능한 사항부터 단계적으로 추진하고 특히 부서별 협업으로 통합적인 해결방안을 모색해 추진 상황을 시민들과 공유할 방침이다.

홍태용 시장은 “시민들의 진솔한 목소리를 통해 우리 시의 현안과 과제를 다시 한번 확인하는 소중한 기회였으며 앞으로도 정례적인 현장 소통을 이어가겠다”며 “수렴된 의견들을 시정에 적극 반영해 시민과 함께 성장하는 글로컬시티 김해를 만들어가겠다”고 강조했다.
