의왕시청소년재단(대표이사 전영남) 산하 의왕시청소년수련관 소속 꿈누리청소년오케스트라가 창단 19주년을 맞아 지난 2월 22일 홈커밍데이(Homecoming Day) 행사를 개최했다.
1부와 2부로 나뉘어 진행된 이날 행사에서 1부에는 축사와 기념 영상 상영, 현역 단원과 OB 단원의 교류 연주회가 펼쳐졌다. 2부에서는 OB 단원들의 강연과 꿈누리오케스트라 지도자들의 축하 연주가 이어지며 분위기를 고조시켰다.
꿈누리청소년오케스트라는 음악에 재능 있는 청소년을 육성하고, 수준 높은 클래식 공연을 통해 지역사회와 소외된 이웃들에게 문화적 감동을 선사하는 청소년 문화예술 단체로 2007년 창단했다.
이날 공연에는 오케스트라 졸업생인 OB 단원과 현역 청소년 단원, 학부모들이 한자리에 모여 자리를 더욱 빛냈다. OB 단원들은‘나에게 꿈누리오케스트라 단원이란’주제의 특강을 통해 후배들에게 깊은 감동과 영감을 선사했다.
전영남 의왕시청소년재단 대표이사는 “꿈누리청소년오케스트라는 의왕시를 대표하는 청소년 오케스트라로서 19년간 그 명성을 이어오고 있다”며, “앞으로도 청소년들이 문화예술적 소양을 기르고, 재능을 마음껏 발휘할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
이날 공연에 참석한 김성제 의왕시장은 축사를 통해 “꿈누리오케스트라 선후배가 함께하여 더욱 특별한 자리였다”며“앞으로도 의왕시 청소년들이 활발히 교류하고 각자의 꿈을 성장시킬 수 있는 환경을 만드는데에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Uiwang City Dream Nuri Youth Orchestra Holds Homecoming Day to Celebrate 19th Anniversary
The Dream Nuri Youth Orchestra, affiliated with the Uiwang City Youth Training Center under the Uiwang City Youth Foundation (CEO Jeon Yeong-nam), held a Homecoming Day event on February 22 to celebrate its 19th anniversary.
The event, which was divided into two parts, included congratulatory remarks, a commemorative video screening, and a performance exchange between active and alumni members in the first part. In the second part, a lecture by alumni members and a congratulatory performance by the Dream Nuri Orchestra leaders heightened the atmosphere.
The Dream Nuri Youth Orchestra was founded in 2007 as a youth cultural and arts organization that fosters talented youth in music and provides cultural inspiration to the local community and underprivileged neighbors through high-level classical performances.
The performance was made even more special by the presence of alumni members of the orchestra, current youth members, and parents.
