[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 3월부터 소용량 3ℓ 종량제 봉투를 장당 130원에 판매한다고 26일 밝혔다.

시는 1인 가구 증가 등으로 소용량 쓰레기 봉투 수요가 꾸준히 늘고 있어 작년 도내 처음으로 3ℓ 봉투를 제작해 판매하기로 결정했다.

현재 김해에서는 5·10·20·50·75ℓ 용량의 봉투가 판매되고 있으며 다음달부터 3ℓ 크기가 더해져 보다 세분화된다.

이에 따라 소량 쓰레기 배출이 보다 편리해지고 봉투 용량을 채우기 위한 쓰레기 보관과 여름철 악취 발생 등의 문제가 많이 줄어들 전망이다.

이치균 자원순환과장은 “1인 가구의 꾸준한 증가 등 변화하는 사회적 여건에 발맞추고 주민 선택의 폭을 넓히기 위해 3ℓ 종량제 봉투를 제작하게 됐다”며 “시민 불편 해소를 위한 보다 다양한 시책 도입에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
