[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 경남도의 2024년 하반기 적극집행 실적평가에서 최우수기관에 선정돼 재정인센티브 2억원을 확보했다고 28일 밝혔다.
시는 지난해 재정 2조 6,593억원의 88%인 2조 3,362억원을 집행해 목표인 2조 2,524억원 대비 838억원을 초과 달성했다.
특히 민생과 직접 연관된 소비·투자 부문도 3·4분기 각각 목표치의 148%, 109% 초과 집행함으로써 도내 전체 1위를 차지했다.
시는 부시장을 단장으로 적극집행추진단을 구성해 집행상황 수시점검과 보고회 개최 등 집행률 제고를 위해 선제적으로 대응했다.
무엇보다 전 직원이 지역경제 활성화 중요성에 대한 공감대를 형성해 추진한 것이 좋은 실적으로 이어졌다.
홍태용 시장은 직원들의 노고에 감사를 표하며 “올해 역시 지역경제의 어려움이 심화되고 있어 시민 생활과 밀접하게 연관된 부문의 재정을 신속하게 집행해 지역경제 회복에 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 시는 민선8기 출범 이후 지방재정 집행 실적 평가에서 2023, 2024년 2년 연속 우수기관에 선정되며 약 8억원의 재정인센티브를 확보했다.
