브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 에어서울이 주 7회 운항중인 다카마쓰 노선 프로모션을 통해 카가와현의 대표적인 축제인 ‘세토우치 국제예술제’를 한국인 관광객들에게 적극적으로 알리고 있다.
다카마쓰는 일본 카가와현의 중심 도시로 한국인들에게 우동의 본고장으로 널리 알려져 있지만 일본 내에서는 세계적인 미술가 쿠사마 야오이의 호박 시리즈를 포함한 다양한 예술 작품을 곳곳에서 만나볼 수 있는 ‘예술의 도시’로 유명하다.
특히 올해는 3년마다 한 번씩 개최되는 ‘세토우치 국제예술제’가 열리는 해이다.
다카마쓰 연안의 쇼도시마, 나오시마 섬 등에서 120여명 이상의 예술가들과 100만명 이상의 관람객 참여(주최측 예상)속에 봄(4월 18일~5월 25일), 여름(8월 1일~8월 31일), 가을(10월 3일~11월 9일)에 걸쳐 총 107일간 진행된다.
계절의 흐름에 따라 변하는 다카마쓰의 아름다운 자연 경관과 250점 이상의 예술 작품들을 섬 곳곳을 여행하며 만나볼 수 있어, 예술의 도시 ‘다카마쓰’의 또 다른 매력을 전할 것으로 기대되고 있다.
