중국 CCTV 보도에 따르면 중국은 10일 오전 0시를 기준으로 미국산 농축산물에 10~15% 추가 관세를 부과했다.
구체적으로 미국산 농·수·축산물로 닭고기·밀·옥수수·면화 등으로 구성된 29개 품목에는 15% 관세를, 수수·대두·돼지고기·쇠고기·수산물·과일·채소·유제품 등 711개 품목에는 관세를 10% 추가했다.
이는 앞서 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 지난달 초 중국을 상대로 10% 추가 관세에 이어 10%를 더 부과한데 대해 대응 조치다.
중국은 또한 지난달 초에도 미국을 상대로 석탄과 액화천연가스(LNG)에 15%, 원유·농기계·고배기량 자동차·픽업트럭 등에 10%의 추가 관세를 부과한 바 있다.
