세종시가 일부 산림에 대해 입산금지와 함께 화기 소지 금지 구역으로 지정하고 관리해 나가기로 했다.
고성진 세종시 시민안전실장은 26일 시청 정음실에서 긴급 브리핑을 갖고 산불방지 대책을 내놨다.
고 실장은 "이달 22일부터 다음달 6일까지 대형산불 특별대책기간으로 정하고 , 산불 발생에 대한 예방 활동을 강화하겠다"고 말했다.
산불방지대책본부 25개소를 설치해 산불조심기간내 평일과 휴일 9:00~20:00까지 연장 운영된다.
앞서 세종시 산불 발생 위험이 높은 동림산, 금성산, 수양산 장군산 등 일부 지역(4,193ha)에 대해 입산금지 조치를 내렸다.
산불 발생 우려 구간에 대해서는 산불무인 감시카메라 18개로 조기 발견해 피해를 최소화하기로 했다.
예찰 활동도 강화를 위해 주요 산림 지역에 대해 산불전문예방진화대 61명과 산불감시원 23명을 투입된다.
산림보호법에 따라 산불을 낸 경우, 3년 이하 징역 또는 3,000만 원 이하 벌금형에 처해지며, 산림 연접지 100m내 농부산물 및 쓰레기를 소각할 경우 최대 100만 원의 과태료가 부과된다.
고성진 실장은 "적극적인 산불 예방활동을 통해 올해에도 산불이 발생하지 않도록 총력 대응을 실시하겠다"며"산불이 발생하지 않도록 당분간 입산을 자제해 달라"고 당부헸다.
