진주시, 주요 등산로에서 산불 예방 캠페인 집중 전개

[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 산청, 하동 등 인근 지역에서 대형 산불이 7일째 지속되고 있는 가운데, 관내 주요 등산로와 산림형 공원에서 산불 예방 캠페인을 적극적으로 전개하고 있다고 27일 밝혔다.

진주시 재난안전대책본부(본부장·조규일 시장)는 26일부터 산불 재난 국가 위기경보 ‘심각’ 단계 해제 시까지 산불 예방을 위한 캠페인을 지속적으로 실시할 예정이다.

이번 캠페인은 시민들의 왕래가 잦은 주요 등산로 입구(가좌산, 망진산, 숙호산 등)와 산림형 공원(진양호공원, 장재공원 등), 월아산 숲속의 진주 등에서 진행된다.

캠페인의 주요 내용은 입산 및 등산 자제, 담배 피우기 금지 및 꽁초 투기 금지, 입산 시 화기 소지 금지, 산림 내 취사 행위 금지, 농부산물 및 쓰레기 소각 금지 등이다.

진주시는 지난 1일부터 읍면동별 산불예방 지도 담당부서와 협력체계를 구축해 체계적이고 실효성 있는 예방 활동을 펼치고 있다.
