HD현대오일뱅크 ‘카젠’이 7년 연속 슈퍼레이스 공식 연료 낙점을 받으며 기술력을 입증했다.
HD현대오일뱅크가 국내 최대 모터스포츠 대회인 '2025 오네(O-NE) 슈퍼레이스 챔피언십'에 7년 연속 공식 연료 공급사로 참여한다.
HD현대오일뱅크는 2일 서울 중구 슈퍼레이스 본사에서 연료 공급 협약을 체결하고, 옥탄가 100 수준의 고급 휘발유 '카젠'을 대회에 단독 공급하기로 했다.
모터스포츠 레이싱 차량은 고성능, 고출력을 요구하기 때문에 엔진 출력 저하를 방지하기 위해 옥탄가 94 이상의 고급 휘발유 사용이 필수적이다. HD현대오일뱅크의 '카젠'은 지난 6년간 슈퍼레이스에 공급되며 그 성능을 입증받았다.
'2025 오네(O-NE) 슈퍼레이스 챔피언십'은 CJ그룹이 주최하는 국내 최대 세계자동차연맹(FIA) 공인 대회로, 11월까지 진행된다. 이번 대회에는 대한민국 최정상급 드라이버들이 참가하는 '토요타 가주 레이싱 6000' 클래스를 비롯해 양산 차량을 개조한 레이싱카 경주인 'GT4 클래스' 등 8개 클래스가 운영된다. 개막전은 19일 용인 에버랜드 스피드웨이에서 열린다.
HD현대오일뱅크 관계자는 "고급 휘발유가 개별 레이싱팀에 공급된 적은 있지만, 국내 모터스포츠 대회 공식 연료로 선정된 것은 카젠이 유일하다"며 "일반 고객들도 전국 500여 군데 HD현대오일뱅크 주유소에서 동일한 성능의 카젠을 직접 체험해 보길 바란다"고 말했다.
슈퍼레이스 관계자는 "이번 시즌부터 레이스 중 중간 급유가 의무화됨에 따라 연료 품질이 더욱 중요해졌다"며 "우수한 연료 공급을 통해 더욱 완성도 높은 대회를 선보일 수 있을 것"이라고 기대감을 드러냈다.
한편, HD현대오일뱅크는 고급 휘발유 '카젠' 외에도 옥탄가 102 이상의 초고급 휘발유 '울트라 카젠'과 고성능 첨가제가 들어간 프리미엄 경유 '울트라 디젤'을 출시하며 고객들에게 차별화된 프리미엄 연료를 제공하고 있다.

Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Oil Bank is providing differentiated premium fuel to its customers by launching Ultra Kazen, an ultra-high-grade gasoline with an octane rating of 102 or higher, and Ultra Diesel, a premium diesel fuel with high-performance additives, in addition to Kazen.
