브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 현대카드는 4월을 맞아 다양한 문화 이벤트를 선보인다.
먼저 오는 25일부터 9월 7일까지 서울 동대문디자인플라자(DDP) 전시1관에서는 ‘현대카드 컬처프로젝트 29 톰 삭스 전’이 개최된다.
이번 전시에서는 세계적인 아티스트 톰 삭스의 최신작이자 대표작인 ‘스페이스 프로그램: 무한대’의 약 200여점을 국내 최초로 한자리에서 선보인다.
톰 삭스의 ‘스페이스 프로그램’의 히스토리를 담은 동명의 영화를 감독판으로 재구성한 영화 ‘스페이스 프로그램, 디렉터스 컷’은 12일 현대카드 아트 라이브러리에서 진행하는 ‘무빙 이미지 스크리닝(Moving Image Screening)’ 프로그램을 통해 확인할 수 있다.
현대카드는 세계적인 힙합 뮤지션 트래비스 스캇의 첫 내한 공연 ‘TRAVIS SCOTT - CIRCUS MAXIMUS in Korea’의 선예매도 진행된다.
현대카드 회원이라면 8일 시작된 일반 예매보다 하루 빠른 7일 낮 12시부터 자정까지 인터파크 티켓에서 예매할 수 있다. 이번 공연은 오는 10월 25일 일산 고양종합운동장에서 열린다.
아울러 오는 25일 현대카드 언더스테이지에서는 ‘손민수 Curated 24 문태국’이 진행된다. 첼리스트 문태국은 도쿄 필하모닉 등 세계 정상급 오케스트라에서 활약하며 국내외 콩쿠르를 휩쓴 연주자로, 대담하고 깊이 있는 표현으로 청중과 평단을 모두 사로잡은 클래식 공연을 선사할 예정이다.
26일과 27일에는 ‘DJ Soulscape Curated 25 몽니’가 현대카드 언더스테이지에서 개최된다. 올해 데뷔 20주년을 맞이한 밴드 몽니의 단독 콘서트로 진행되는 이번 공연에서는 강렬한 록 사운드부터 어쿠스틱 감성으로 새롭게 해석된 무대까지 몽니의 색다른 매력을 느낄 수 있다.
현대카드 뮤직 라이브러리에서는 이달 말까지 음악과 문화, 사회 전반을 조명하는 세계 최고의 대중음악 매거진, ‘롤링 스톤 컬렉션(Rolling Stone Collection)’ 전시를 통해 레전드 펑크 록 아이콘들을 조명한다. 단순하면서도 강렬한 코드와 폭발적인 드러밍으로 기존 록의 관습을 깨뜨리고 새로운 문화를 만들어 온 혁신적인 펑크 록의 레전드 아티스트를 만나볼 수 있다.
이달부터 오는 6월 29일까지 현대카드 디자인 라이브러리에서는 101번째 ‘레어 컬렉션(Rare Collection)’ 전시로 삶과 예술을 연결해주는 창이자 기억과 시선을 기록한 사진들을 희귀 도서를 통해 만나볼 수 있는 ‘기록하는 사진’ 전을 선보인다.
한편, 현대카드 여의도 본사 2관 로비 1층에 설치된 ‘현대카드 MoMA 디지털 월’에서는 세계적인 시각 예술가 라파엘 로젠달(Rafaël Rozendaal)의 ‘빛(Light)’을 관람할 수 있다.
현대카드는 지난달 12일 미국 뉴욕현대미술관(MoMA) 메인 로비에 설치된 디지털 월과 같은 형태의 스크린을 설치하고 향후 MoMA에서 전시하는 것과 동일한 디지털 아트 작품을 선보일 예정이다. ‘현대카드 MoMA 디지털 월’ 관람은 매일 오전 9시부터 오후 7시까지 무료로 가능하다.
