[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 경남도가 실시한 ‘2025년(2024년 실적 기준) 시·군 주요업무 합동평가’에서 정량 및 정성 부문 모두 시부 2위를 차지했다고 14일 밝혔다.
특히 시는 이번 합동평가를 포함해 4년 연속 우수기관에 선정됐으며, 이번 특별조정교부금 2억1900만원을 확보했다.
시·군 합동평가는 경남도가 도내 18개 시·군을 대상으로 주요 국정 및 도정 과제에 대한 추진 성과와 행정역량을 종합 평가하는 제도로, 2011년부터 매년 시행되고 있다.
이번 평가는 정량지표 99개, 정성지표 22개, 도민평가 등으로 구성됐으며, 시·군 간 상호검증과 도 실무부서 검토, 외부 평가단과 도민평가단의 심사를 거쳐 공정하게 진행됐다.
진주시는 정량지표 99개 중 91개를 달성, 92.6%의 달성률을 기록해 시부 2위에 올랐으며, 이는 지난해보다 달성률이 4%포인트 상승한 수치이며, 순위도 두 계단 상승했다.
정성평가에서도 진주시는 제출한 22개 사례 중 10건이 우수사례로 선정돼 정량 평가와 마찬가지로 시부 2위를 차지했다.
평가 대표 사례는 '시민체감형 여성친화도시 진주' 조성, 지능형 교통체계(ITS) 구축을 통한 교통안전도시 실현, 월아산 숲속의 진주 조성 등이 포함됐다.
진주시는 이번 평가를 통해 우수기관 표창 1건과 유공 공무원 6명에 대한 개인 표창을 받을 예정이며, 이는 도내 시부 가운데 가장 많은 수상 실적이다.
특히 진주시는 지난 2022년 2억1500만원, 지난 2023년 3억5000만원, 지난해 1억900만원, 2025년 2억1900만원 등 총 8억9300만 원의 특별조정교부금을 확보했다.
