[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 경남 합천군이 인구 감소와 초고령화에 대응하기 위해 청년과 고령층을 아우르는 맞춤형 주택 공급에 나서며 ‘주거 혁신’ 정책을 본격 추진한다.
합천군은 청년·신혼부부를 위한 행복주택 입주자를 오는 30일 발표하고, 8월 입주를 목표로 사업을 진행 중이다.
이번 행복주택은 총사업비 133억원을 투입해 6층 규모로 건립되며 전용면적 38㎡ 20가구, 70㎡ 10가구 등 총 30가구로 구성된다.
빨래방, 헬스장, 휴게카페 등 커뮤니티 시설을 함께 조성해 청년과 신혼부부의 정주 여건 개선을 도모한다.

합천군은 추가로 140억원 규모의 청년공공임대주택을 2027년까지, 또 다른 140억원이 투입되는 ‘청년스펙드림센터’를 2028년까지 조성할 계획이다.
청년스펙드림센터는 10층 규모로 주거 공간 30세대와 함께 창업 지원, 직업 정보 제공, 네트워크 교류 기능을 갖춘 복합시설로 추진된다.
고령층을 위한 주거 대책도 병행된다. 군은 2028년 완공을 목표로 116가구 규모의 고령자 복지주택 건립을 추진하고 있다.
해당 주택에는 문턱 제거, 안전 손잡이 설치 등 무장애 설계를 적용하고, 경로식당과 물리치료실, 건강관리실 등 복지시설을 함께 배치할 예정이다.
지역사회 통합건강돌봄 서비스와 연계해 주거와 돌봄을 동시에 제공하는 체계를 구축한다는 계획이다.
이와 함께 국토교통부 ‘지역제안형 특화 공공임대주택’ 공모사업에 선정된 세대통합형 주택단지도 추진 중이다.

합천역세권 일원에 조성되는 이 단지는 청년, 신혼부부, 은퇴자, 귀농인이 함께 거주하는 100가구 규모로, 공동 주방과 세탁실, 육아시설 등 공유공간을 갖춘 것이 특징이다.
합천군은 인구 감소와 주거 환경 악화가 맞물린 구조적 문제 해결을 위해 주거 기반 확충이 필요하다는 판단 아래 관련 사업을 확대하고 있다.
군에 따르면 합천 인구는 최근 4만 명 아래로 감소했으며, 65세 이상 고령 인구 비율은 47.6%에 달한다. 노후 주택 비율도 70%를 웃돌고 있다.
