대전정보문화산업진흥원(원장 이은학)은 대한민국 대중음악의 거장 이범희 작곡가가 지난 15일 배재대학교 스마트배재관에서 열린 '제5회 디데이포럼(DICIA DAY)'에서 '한국 대중음악의 세계화와 지역의 역할'을 주제로 특별 강연을 진행했다고 16일 밝혔다.
이 행사는 대전정보문화산업진흥원과 배재대 산학협력단이 공동 주최하여, 케이팝의 역사와 발전 방향을 조망하고 지역 문화콘텐츠의 미래를 논의하는 자리였다.
이범희 작곡가는 이용의 '잊혀진 계절', 조용필의 '들꽃' 등 수많은 히트곡을 작곡한 인물로, 이날 강연에서 한국 대중음악의 세계화 과정과 지역의 역할에 대해 심도 깊은 통찰을 제공했다. 그는 "지역의 문화적 자산과 창의성이 케이팝의 다양성과 지속 가능성에 기여할 수 있다"고 강조했다.
포럼은 지역 뮤지션 유치(Yuchee)의 공연으로 시작되어, 학생, 예비 창업자, 산학연 관계자 등 120여 명이 참석한 가운데 진행되었다.

김욱 배재대 총장은 환영사에서 "지역사회 혁신을 주도할 대전형 RISE 체계에서 특성화 분야인 문화콘텐츠의 강점과 활성화 방안이 논의되는 뜻깊은 포럼이 배재대에서 열려 기쁘다"며, "특히 배재대가 자리잡은 대전 서구는 지난해 특수영상 콘텐츠 특구로 지정되면서 문화콘텐츠 활성화와 관련 산업 인재양성 등 대학과 지역사회가 함께 상생발전하는 토대가 마련됐다"고 말했다.
이번 포럼은 지역 혁신 중심 대학지원체계(RISE)의 지·산·학·연 연계 기조에 맞춰 기획되었으며, 대전의 문화콘텐츠 산업 발전과 인재 양성에 대한 실질적인 논의가 이루어졌다.
참석자들은 지역의 문화적 특성과 자원을 활용한 콘텐츠 개발과 글로벌 시장 진출 전략에 대한 다양한 아이디어를 공유하며, 지역 문화산업의 미래를 함께 모색했다.
