전북 군산해양경찰서는 오는 24일까지 2일간 서해해양경찰청 주관으로 각종 해양 사고와 치안 상황에 대비한 대규모 훈련을 실시한다.
이번 훈련에는 경비함정 6척과 경찰관 약 180여 명이 참여해 국민이 안심할 수 있는 최상의 구조 대응 태세 확립과 각종 상황에 대한 대응능력을 강화할 방침이다.
특히 치안과 관련한 검문 단속과 사고에 대비한 화재진화 및 방수 훈련까지 총 13종목을 실시한다.
각 훈련에는 서해청 소속 교관이 훈련 과정을 직접 참관하고 미진한 분야에 대한 교육 후 환류ㆍ토론 과정을 거쳐 최종 평가하게 된다.
이번 훈련은 함정에서 운용하고 있는 각 장비 정비 상태와 3년 미만 신입 경찰관들의 운용 능력 테스트가 포함되는 등 현장 지휘관 판단 역량 강화도 담겻다.
군산해경은 최근까지 팀워크 훈련을 통해 기초체력과 협업 능력 강화에 주력했으며 이번 훈련을 통해 보다 각종 상황에 맞춘 직무 전문성 강화에 역량을 모은다는 방침이다.
