【브레이크뉴스 경주】박희경 기자=경주시의회(의장 이동협)는 4월 24일 본회의장에서 제290회 임시회 제1차 본회의를 열고 9일간의 의사일정에 돌입했다.

본회의에 앞서 이경희 의원은 ‘고령자 운전면허 반납’의 필요성을, 한순희 의원은 ‘현대식 교통망 인프라 구축’, 최재필 의원은 ‘원도심 활성화’, 임활 부의장은 ‘산불 예방 대책’을 주제로 각각 5분 자유발언을 통해 시정 현안에 대한 목소리를 냈다.
이어진 본회의에서는 「제290회 임시회 회기결정의 건」을 비롯해 「2025년도 제1회 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획 변경안 제안설명의 건」, 「회의록 서명의원 선임의 건」, 「경주시 중소기업육성 기금심의위원회 위원 추천의 건」 등이 상정·처리됐다.
이번 임시회는 오는 5월 2일까지 진행되며, 휴회기간 중에는 상임위원회를 통해 총 21건의 안건이 심사된다. 심의대상은 ▲추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획 변경안 ▲행정사무감사 계획서 승인의 건 ▲조례안 10건 ▲동의안 4건 ▲의견청취안 1건 ▲공유재산 관리계획 변경안 2건 ▲각종 보고 4건 등이다.
특히 경주시의회 자체 발의로 상정된 조례안은 총 5건으로, ▲「경주시 건축 조례 일부개정조례안」(최재필 의원) ▲「경주시 폐기물 관리 조례 일부개정조례안」(정성룡 의원) ▲「경주시 산불방지 활동 지원에 관한 조례안」(최영기 의원) ▲「경주시 국가유공자 우선주차구역의 설치 및 운영에 관한 조례안」(정희택 의원) ▲「경주시의회의원 상해 등 보상금 지급에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안」(한순희 의원)이 포함됐다.
이동협 의장은 개회사에서 “지난 3월 발생한 대형 산불 피해가 신속히 복구되길 바라며, APEC 정상회의의 성공적 개최와 지역경제 회복을 위한 추가경정예산의 효과적인 편성을 기대한다”고 밝혔다.
한편, 제290회 임시회는 5월 2일 제2차 본회의에서 안건을 심의·의결하며 폐회할 예정이다.

In his opening remarks, Chairman Lee Dong-hyeop stated, “I hope that the damage from the large-scale wildfire that occurred last March will be quickly restored, and I look forward to the effective preparation of the supplementary budget for the successful hosting of the APEC Summit and the recovery of the regional economy.”
Meanwhile, the 290th extraordinary session is scheduled to deliberate and vote on the agenda at the 2nd plenary session on May 2 and close.
