충남 서천군이 전국 규모 스포츠대회를 앞두고 종합스포츠단지 내 주요 체육시설에 대한 현장점검과 운영방안 논의에 나섰다. 군은 지난 30일 '제3차 정책현답'을 개최하고, 체계적인 시설 관리와 대회 준비 상황을 점검했다고 1일 밝혔다.
이번 회의는 5월부터 잇따라 열릴 유소년 축구대회, 배드민턴 대회를 포함한 각종 스포츠행사의 안전한 진행과 효율적인 시설 활용을 목표로 추진됐다. 점검 대상에는 종합운동장과 국민체육센터, 풋살장, 태권도전당, 궁도장 등 기존 시설은 물론, 현재 조성이 한창인 론볼경기장과 유소년 전용 축구장까지 포함됐다.
