(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시 별빛마루도서관이 12일, 문화체육관광부 주최, 한국문화예술위원회 주관 ‘2025 길 위의 인문학’ 공모사업에 선정돼, 은성 목일신 작가를 주제로 한 인문학 프로그램을 운영한다.
별빛마루도서관에 따르면,‘길 위의 인문학’은 지역 주민이 도서관 등 가까운 문화공간에서 인문학을 쉽고 편하게 접할 수 있도록 지원하는 대표적인 인문문화 진흥 사업이다.
별빛마루도서관은 이번 선정으로 국비 1천만 원을 확보했으며, 부천을 대표하는 아동문학가이자 동요 ‘자전거’의 작사자인 은성 목일신 작가를 테마로 강연과 현장 탐방 등으로 구성된 인문학 프로그램을 진행할 계획이다.
‘길 위의 인문학’ 인문학 강좌는 5월 22일부터 9월 25일까지 매월 둘째·넷째 주 목요일, 별빛마루도서관에서 총 11회 진행된다.
주요 프로그램은 유성호 교수의 아동문학사 강의, 고경숙 시인과 함께하는 동시의 이해 및 전주 문학 답사, 나민애 교수의 아동문학 특강 등으로 구성된다.
모든 교육과정은 11월 수료식과 운영집 발간을 끝으로 마무리된다.
도서관 관계자는 “광복 80주년을 맞아, 일제강점기 속에서 태동한 근대 아동문학을 돌아보며 민족정신을 되새기는 인문학 수업을 마련했다”며 “부천을 대표하는 아동문학가 은성 목일신 작가의 자취를 통해 시민들이 인문학에 대한 이해를 넓히고 삶의 활력을 찾는 계기가 되길 바란다”고 말했다.

On the 12th, Bucheon Starlight Maru Library was selected for the ‘2025 Humanities on the Road’ contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Arts and Culture Committee, and will be operating a humanities program themed on author Mok Il-shin.
According to Starlight Maru Library, ‘Humanities on the Road’ is a representative humanities and culture promotion project that supports local residents to easily and conveniently access humanities at nearby cultural spaces such as libraries.
The Byeolbitmaru Library secured 10 million won in national funds through this selection, and plans to hold a humanities program consisting of lectures and field trips themed on Eunseong Mokilshin, a representative children’s literature writer of Bucheon and the lyricist of the children’s song “Bicycle.”
The “Humanities on the Road” humanities lecture will be held a total of 11 times at the Byeolbitmaru Library on the second and fourth Thursdays of every month from May 22 to September 25.
The main programs consist of Professor Yoo Seongho’s lecture on the history of children’s literature, an understanding of poetry and a field trip to Jeonju with poet Ko Gyeongsuk, and a special lecture on children’s literature by Professor Na Minae.
All courses will conclude with a graduation ceremony and publication of a collection of works in November.
A library official said, “In celebration of the 80th anniversary of liberation, we have prepared a humanities class that looks back on modern children’s literature that emerged during the Japanese colonial period and reflects on the national spirit,” and added, “We hope that citizens will broaden their understanding of the humanities and find vitality in life through the footsteps of Eunseong Mok Il-sin, a representative children’s writer of Bucheon.”
