(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) (재)인천광역시계양구인재양성장학교육재단(이노경 이사장)이 문화체육관광부가 주최하고 한국문화예술위원회가 주관하는 2025년 ‘길 위의 인문학’, ‘지혜학교’ 공모사업에 계양구립 4개 도서관(작전, 효성, 서운, 동양)이 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
‘길 위의 인문학’과 ‘지혜학교’는 일상생활에서 인문학을 가까이 접하고 인문 가치 확산을 통해 국민의 삶의 질 향상을 지원하는 사업이다.
작전도서관은 ‘맛, 인문으로 풀어내다’, 효성도서관은 ‘자화상, 시대와 역사를 만나다’, 서운도서관은 ‘니체와 운명 그리고 글쓰기’, 동양도서관은 ‘자아와 세계, 그 간극과 해법’을 주제로, 오는 6월부터 11월까지 진행된다.
한편, 효성도서관은 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 ‘도서관 상주작가 지원사업’에 선정돼, 상주작가의 창작 지원 및 지역 유관기관과 독서문화 프로그램을 연계 운영할 예정이다.
동양도서관은 ‘장애인평생학습도시 운영사업’을 통해 지식 소외계층의 도서관 이용 향상과 문화 향유 기회를 확대할 계획이다.
작전도서관 한양진 관장은 “앞으로도 도서관이 다양한 공모사업에 참여해 구 재정을 절감하고, 지역 주민들이 일상에서 다양한 문화를 향유할 수 있도록 적극 힘쓰겠다.”고 말했다.

The Incheon Metropolitan City Gyeyang-gu Talent Development Scholarship Education Foundation (Chairman Lee No-kyung) announced that 4 libraries in Gyeyang-gu (Jakjeon, Hyosung, Seoun, Dongyang) were selected for the 2025 ‘Humanities on the Road’ and ‘Wisdom School’ public contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Arts and Culture Committee.
‘Humanities on the Road’ and ‘Wisdom School’ are projects that support improving the quality of life of citizens by bringing humanities closer to them in their daily lives and spreading humanistic values.
The Jakjeon Library will be holding a ‘Taste, Unraveled through Humanities’ event, Hyosung Library will be holding a ‘Self-Portrait, Meeting the Times and History’ event, Seoun Library will be holding a ‘Self and the World, the Gap and the Solution’ event, and the Dongyang Library will be holding a ‘Self and the World, the Gap and the Solution’ event from June to November.

Dongyang Library plans to improve library use and expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment for the knowledge-deprived class through the ‘Lifelong Learning City Operation Project for the Disabled.’
Jakjeon Library Director Han Yang-jin said, “We will continue to actively participate in various public contests to reduce the district budget and ensure that local residents can enjoy diverse cultures in their daily lives.”
