(브레이크뉴스인천 문광수 기자) 부천시 수주도서관이 21일, 국립어린이청소년도서관이 주관하는 ‘2025년 도서관과 함께 책 읽기’ 공모사업에 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
수주도서관에 따르면, 이번 사업은 도서관 접근이 어려운 지식정보 취약계층 아동에게 독서문화 프로그램을 제공해 독서에 대한 흥미를 높이고 책을 생활화할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 것을 목표로 한다.
수주도서관은 고강동지역아동센터와 협력해 7월부터 10월까지 총 15회에 걸쳐 도서관이 지역아동센터로 찾아가는 방식으로 프로그램을 운영할 계획이다.
이를 통해 정보·문화적으로 소외되기 쉬운 아동들에게 독서문화 교육의 기회를 제공할 예정이다.
주요 프로그램은 도서관 이용 교육을 비롯해 그림책 스토리텔링, 글쓰기, 감정표현, 보드게임 등 다양한 독후활동으로 구성되며, 작가와의 만남도 함께 진행해 아동들의 상상력과 창의력을 높일 수 있도록 지원할 계획이다.
수주도서관은 이번 선정을 계기로 정보 취약계층 대상 독서진흥사업의 필요성을 다시 확인하고, 향후 다양한 공모사업에 지속적으로 참여해 독서문화 활성화를 추진할 계획이다.

Bucheon Suju Library announced on the 21st that it was selected for the ‘Reading with the Library in 2025’ Contest hosted by the National Library for Children and Young Adults.
According to Suju Library, this project aims to provide reading culture programs to children from information-vulnerable classes who have difficulty accessing libraries, thereby increasing their interest in reading and creating an environment where they can incorporate books into their lives.
Suju Library plans to operate the program by visiting local children’s centers a total of 15 times from July to October in cooperation with Gogang-dong Community Children’s Center.
