충남 청양군(군수 김돈곤)이 ‘2025 관광도시 조성의 해’, 종교 유산과 치유 자원을 융합한 관광 콘텐츠 개발에 본격 나섰다.
특히 문화체육관광부가 주관하는 서부내륙권 관광진흥사업의 일환으로, 지역의 종교 명소를 중심으로 한 ‘성지혜윰길’ 조성에 속도를 내고 있다.
‘성지혜윰길’은 종교적 성지를 따라 사색하고 성찰하는 여정이다. ‘혜윰’은 순우리말로 ‘생각’을 뜻하며, 이 길은 몸과 마음을 비우고 채우는 과정 속에서 내면의 평화를 되찾는 치유 여행을 지향한다.
군은 2024년부터 2026년까지 3개년 계획으로 '치유형 순례 코스 및 콘텐츠 발굴, 지역 특화형 치유 순례 프로그램 운영, 디지털 해설 시스템 구축' 등을 단계적으로 추진 중이다.
